Common Foot and Ankle Problems

John Anderson, MD, Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan

Wednesday, September 22 - 7:00 p.m.

Consider this: walking puts up to 1.5 times your bodyweight on your feet and one hour of strenuous exercise means your feet cushion up to one million pounds of pressure. It is no surprise, then, that three out of four Americans experience serious foot problems. Dr. Anderson will answer your questions about common foot and ankle conditions and injuries including arthritis, heel pain, bunions, stress fractures, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis and more.

Dr. Anderson is board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and serves as associate professor, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, co-director, Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship, and associate program director, Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Residency Program.
