Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital is a 25-bed hospital in Reed City, Michigan, that provides care for severe illnesses and conditions. We follow the Planetree model of care, which focuses on healing and nurturing a patient's body, mind and spirit. Our staff is committed to improving medical care by focusing on the things you think are important, empowering you and your family through education, and encouraging a partnership with your caregivers.

Reed City Hospital offers a newly renovated emergency department with ten private treatment rooms, a larger medical imaging department and a regional cancer treatment center. Our Eden Alternative® rehab and nursing center received a ten-out-of-ten star rating for implementing the Eden care philosophy and practice, which seeks to transform institutions into vibrant living and working environment.

We have been recognized for our quality care by Michigan's Quality Improvement Organization. In 2008, we received a three-year accreditation from The Joint Commission as well as ultrasound accreditation from the American College of Radiology. We also offer:

Events

Light the Way

This year's tree lighting ceremony will be held at Crossroads Radiation Therapy Center at 4499 220th Street in Reed City on Tuesday, December 1 at 5:30 p.m. Come enjoy special music and refreshments. The trees will remain lit through January 1.

By sponsoring the 2nd Annual Tribute of Light Ceremony, you will join a team of dedicated individuals who are committed to fighting cancer. All proceeds will be used to purchase special recliners for patients undergoing chemotherapy, hydration or other procedures at Reed City Hospital. The chairs are an important part of creating a comfortable environment in our health care setting.

Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital thanks the donors and friends who made last year's ceremony a success. We raised more than $1,000 for the intensive care unit and rehab and nursing center. These funds supported the purchase of beautiful aquarium, which countless intensive care patients and families have enjoyed during their stay over the past year. The remaining funds supported the new Four Seasons Room in the Rehab and Nursing Center.
