The dedicated staff members at the Special Care Hospital work to ensure that all your needs are met through intensive nursing care, focused respiratory services and individualized therapies.
The Special Care Hospital is the only long-term acute care hospital in the greater Grand Rapids area. We are accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent nonprofit organization that accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs. Accreditation is recognized as a symbol of quality and reflects our hospital's commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
Our Approach
Our personal approach to care features daily physician rounding, direct nursing care and therapy. At our weekly meetings, all team members discuss your progress and prognosis.
